General comments
Overweeg antimicrobiële therapie bij patiënten met een (verhoogd risico op een) afwijkend beloop van de klachten: ernstig ziek zijn, opnieuw koorts na een aantal koortsvrije dagen, gestoorde afweer.
Bij ernstige sinusitis: kweken afnemen
