Antibiotica is geindiceerd bij een ernstig zieke patiënt.
Overweeg antibiotica bij risicofactoren zoals
- immuun gecompromitteerd
- sikkelcelziekte
- diabetes mellitus
- acuut reuma in de voorgeschiedenis
